The Maxwell Area Community Center is located in the quaint town of Maxwell, Iowa. Centrally located between Ames and Des Moines. The Community Center serves Maxwell and the surrounding areas providing a perfect location for all your hosting needs. It is located in the heart of Maxwell, on Main Street and right across the street from the beautiful Maxwell City Park. The Center was built for the purpose of housing special events and varies forms of entertainment. The building is set up to host weddings, receptions, business meetings, business parties, birthday parties, club meetings, auctions, fundraising events and many other types of events. It will comfortably hold 300 guests, has an outside area and offers free wifi as well as a variety other amenities. Please go to our amenities page to view a list. The Maxwell Area Community Center is a non profit 504 ran by a board of 6 members.

The Main hall of the Community Center offers a large, spacious area perfect for a variety of events.
The hall can hold 300 guest comfortably and offers a sound system as well as other amenities for all your needs.
The center offers a full functioning kitchen with a commercial size refrigerator, 2 stoves, a freezer and plenty of prep and serving room.
